Hey Jason. Your thoughts on the Albion Trilogy echo the common belief of the forum members. Post often; we look forward to getting to know you!

I'm Jason. I'm a college student on the U.S. West Coast. I started reading Stephen's Song of Albion Trilogy after it was suggested to me by a family member. I checked them out of my local library & read all three in a single week! They're amazing books. Hey Jason, welcome to the forum. SoA was my favorite series as well and I've been a fan of his books for the last 20 years, so you're in good company. If you liked SoA, you'll love the new series he's coming out with this Fall.

My name is Francine. I am 35 and live in PA. So far I really like this forum. I can't remember if I met any of you at the Terry Brooks forums this year. Kinda want to block that period of my life from my memory. Anyway, I have an Anthropology degree and am a member of the the American Anthropology Association. I am working on first book as well and have stalled at Chapter 21.
I have three children and my claim to fame is counting the writer DJ Conway as a friend and have had the pleasure of hearing the paleoanthropologist, Maeve Leakey lecture at my University's Provost Lecture. Leakey is Louis Leakey's daughter-in-law.
Anyway, that's me. I think this site is pretty cool. thanks for having me.

I hope whatever problems you encountered elsewhere don't follow you and will leave you in peace. Have fun here. We're all a little nuts but that's part of the fun.

They won't. I feel confident of that after being here a month. Besides, work keeps me intensely busy. Love working in retail, don't ask me why--I get more gabbing in with customers than any other job.

That's funny. I imagine you could have a lot of fun in retail if you like to chat. At least it would keep things from getting boring.
I'm glad whatever problems existed won't trouble you here. If anything should pop up, just let me know.

Hi everyone Since i seldom give out real names online, you can call me Evangeline, or just E (if you don't want to type it all out). I chose my screen name based on the Longfellow poem. I love poetry and write some of my own. I have a degree in Medieval Studies, and was always intrigued by Arthurian legend. I was delighted when a relative handed me a copy of Avalon and said "I know you'll love this!" Well, he was right. I could not put it down, and immediately ordered the rest of the series (so i can read them in the proper order ). My favorite part was when Merlin fought spiritual warfare against Moira. It was all i could do not to stand up and cheer! How awesome it is that we have been blessed with an author who has claimed back Arthurian legend for the Kingdom of God!

Hi Evangeline! I'm Ceridwen (Renee), and I've been a Lawhead fan since the early 1990s ( Dream Thief was the first one I read). My favorite series is the Song of Albion trilogy. As far as the Pendragon series goes, I have to agree that Merlin is the best of the lot. He is too cool. And I also love the redemptive nature of much of SRL's work.

Merlin is the best of the lot. He is too cool. He is, yes, though even more so i'm quite taken with the character of Taliesin. He was always fascinating to me, but this incarnation is the frosting on the cake.
