No one has mentioned BOARD games... OR tabletop games.
Anyone play MageKnights?

No MageKnights, but I love to play Clue, Monopoly, and RISK--unfortunately, board games aren't really in fashion among 20somethings. Which is sad, considering how broke 20somethings generally are--they're cheap and can provide resusable entertainment for years.

When I visit my brothers in TN (both in their 20's) we spend half the night deciding which game to play, and the other half playing...

They might be exceptions...although, my experience is limited to people that I know here in Lexington.

I enjoy some clue, scrabble, clue, etc. All the good stuff. I also play some D&D now and then (wish I could play more). Mage Knights is a straight up miniatures based game, not role-playing, is it not? I know I see the Mage Knight stuff used as D&D miniatures all the time. They're the right size...same battle-maps used.
Funny anecdote - a friends asked me the other day if I owned D&D...I thought he'd like it, so I've semi-explained it to him before. Obviously not enough! I'm like, I own some books, ya. I've got the basic rules online...my brother has a battle map I could borrow, though I want to get my own. I've got some miniatures...does that answer your question? lol (ok, I didn't actually say all that, but you get the idea).

I love board games. I've played quite a few different ones over the years and they never get old.
Risk, Life, Go for Broke, Stratego, and many others.

Monopoly (when I can beat my father!). . . Clue (When my baby sister isn't insisting that we all play it and she has to win). . . I do play D&D and Vampires occassionally. . .I have played Werewolf too. . .but that was only once and. . .let's just say I got about 4 minutes of actual play time before we quit because of how large the group is

I've always wanted to pen and paper D&D but never had the opportunity. I'd be willing to host all weekend games. Also, as to the chess discussion: when I was a senior in high school I had a group of really odd friends, and we got into playing chess variations. One of the teachers had a 4-person chess set, with a board shaped like a cross (it had three extra rows added to each end of the traditionally square board), and we played for hours. If anyone knows where I could find a similar set, I'd appreciate it.

Mostly I play chess alone or computer Monopoly. Just be glad you don't play Monopoly with my dad. I was, I dunno, 6 years old. I could barely count my money. My dad was like a cut-throat mob boss who wouldn't let anyone quit until he had everyone so in debt to him, we wanted to declare bankruptcy. The Monopoly board looked like downtown Detroit, as my dad invented any number of ways to condemn houses, hotels - even repossessing other player's game pieces. Yeah, it was great.
