Trying to pick out actors for a movie adaption is ridiculous...besides, all the best picks are usually virtually undiscovered actors (ie. LOTR), or amazing non-A list actors who've shown what they're worth on tv - my personal opinion. Personally, I think David Boreanaz, Amy Acker, Alexis Denisoff (all from angel), and Julian McMahon (hated charmed, but this guy made that show and Nip/Tuck) are all some of the most amazing actors I've ever seen. Though, Julian's success on Nip/Tuck has already caused him to grow in Hollywood - Fantastic Four picked him up for Dr. Doom.

Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg? Please....

And on another casting note, from what I've seen the guys playing Moody and Krum in Goblet of Fire are bloody pissing me off. Look at this! www.imdb.com/name/nm0322407/ ? and Krum (looks like the picture was taken offline) looks like an over-sized fat, stupid crabbe or goyle with more dis-figured features! What the heck!

Well, I can't see the pic from Krum, but I thought the guy playing moody looks about how I would have imagined him. What's so wrong with him? I'm just glad to see Alfonso Cuarón not directing this one... I don't know who Mike Newell is, besides the director of Mona Lisa Smile, but anyone is better than Alfonso Cuarón at this point... He would have had Dumbledoor in dredlocks had he been allowed to continue. I wish Chris Columbus would keep doing them....

You imagined Moody as a fat English John Candy looking guy? I'll just leave it at that...

Yeah... actually I did.... ;D But the way you state it makes me laugh... I saw more of a skinny, crazy looking old man with a huge eyeball (ie. the picture of him on the back of OotP - though I imagined the eyeball a bit differently...more metallic looking).

I wholeheartedly agree--PoA really suffered from insane directing; story was cut so that we could get more shots of the moving innards of the giant clock. Oh, and don't even get me started on how the Hogwarts grounds are completely different from the first two movies.

The biggest difference I saw was in their trip to Hagrid's hut. I mean COME ON! We see them do this a hundred times in the other 2 movies... you think we won't notice you move the set to Scotland? geeezzz Plus, I just think he sucks as a director. I was glad the cast knew what they were doing.
