I think you should have resisted, the pun was worthy of my dad But, I am known for my bad jokes. I mean, I figured out a long time ago that I am only mediocre at making good jokes, but I positively excel at making bad ones. So, I play to my strengths.

'Tis indeed the book about the deer! It was all right, but the one about the wolf was terrible.

I picked up Garth Nix's Sabriel on a clearance rack and am now four chapters into it. I'm not seeing what all the fuss is about yet, but if that changes, I'll post.

I'm at the library right now and I just picked up Hitch Hikers guide tothe galaxy. I started it once but never got around to finishing it.
I thought so I haven't read that for a few years I first read it when I was about 12 and I really like it. I think I started his wolf book but I don't recall if I finished or even liked it.

I have to choose one of these three to read next: Night Train to Rigel by Timothy Zahn, Crown of Fire by Kathy Tyres, or the 4th Sister Fidelma book, The Subtle Serpent by Peter Tremayne.

The sword bearer series by john White is good. There are lots of books in it and i have only read the first but it written in a Lawhead-ish style and is really good. Also the Pagan chronicles by Catherine Jenkins is really good. it gives you a realistic look at medieval life in a satirical way

I liked Kenneth Grahme's Wind in the Willows. It is much better than the Disney Movie. Also I here, through the looking glass and Alice in Wonderland are good. I like R. A. Salvatore's Dark ELf Trilogy (although I do not agree with all of its philosophical/religious points)and his Ice Wind Dale Trilogy. Likewise, C.S. Lewis's Sci Fi Triology is good, yet a little different. Also, for those of you who have not done so yet the classics like Dante's divine Comedy and the Oddesey or Aneid are definitely worth a read.
