Oh, the story was good, and it was well written... but when the characters are dropping the f-bomb every other sentence, it gets pretty boring.

Were they? Didn't even notice.... That's because you're desensitized to it. FF, it's good to see you still notice things like that. I stopped picking up on it a long time ago. I hope you are never become immune to it like we have.

Yeah... the language in King books does put me off, too. I try to just pass it by... "bleeping" it in my head.
I never get used to it because I don't know anubody who talks like that in real life, and there is very little, if any, such language in other books I read.

I'm not sure, but did the movie have a lot of cursing? We watched the "edited version" on TV, and it was really good

OWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!......i came in here looking for Stephen King talk and now....all this.....OOOOWWWWWW!!!!! Sorry... you're right. I will desist. Uh.... I really liked Eyes of the Dragon... I didn't care for the two rather graphic nose-picking scenes, but other than that I thought it was very good. That was my first King novel.

s'alright, Calixar....no worries....if a thread gets derailed, i'd rather it be about joking or something.....nothing too controversial.....anyways, Eyes of the Dragon was pretty good....King wrote it for his daughter because she wanted him to write something she could read......i believe she was 12 or so at the time......that's why there's really no crude or disgusting language or scenes.
