When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.

Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God. -- One of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?"

Every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. -- He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks. -- The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, ... Who forgives all your iniquities, ... Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies.

February 7 -- Evening

Jesus ... was moved with compassion for them.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. -- We do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. -- He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray. -- He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

As a father pities his children, so the LORD pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.

You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth. Oh, turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give Your strength to Your servant, and save the son of Your maidservant.

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends.

The LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing?" -- It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. -- God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. -- The hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory.

Blessed is the man You choose, and cause to approach You, that he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple. -- The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. -- I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.

You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

You shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

You are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. -- If indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Praise is awaiting You, O God, in Zion.

Now he is comforted.

Your sun shall no longer go down, nor shall your moon withdraw itself; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. -- He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth. -- These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. -- God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

The night is coming when no one can work.

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord ... they ... rest from their labors, and their works follow them. -- There the wicked cease from troubling, and there the weary are at rest. -- Samuel said to Saul, "Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?"

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. -- The dead do not praise the LORD, nor any who go down into silence.

I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day.

There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light.

The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. -- Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.

I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. -- We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image, ... just as by the Spirit of the Lord. -- God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ... give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, ... that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

He struck the rock, so that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed.

All our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. -- One of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. -- He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

You are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. -- My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewn themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water.

If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. -- Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name.

So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. -- Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. -- My fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. -- Exhort one another daily, while it is called "today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. -- Behold, it is written before Me.

The trees of the LORD are full of sap.

I will be like the dew to Israel; he shall grow like the lily, and lengthen his roots like Lebanon. His branches shall spread; his beauty shall be like an olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon. -- Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.

I, the LORD, have brought down the high tree and exalted the low tree, dried up the green tree and made the dry tree flourish.

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing.

"They shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "on the day that I make them My jewels."

I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

I will come again and receive you to Myself. -- He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe. -- We who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. -- You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem In the hand of your God.

Please, show me Your glory.

God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. -- The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? -- When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek."

We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. -- Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

On the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it.

The Man Christ Jesus. -- Coming in the likeness of men ... found in appearance as a man. -- Inasmuch ... as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death.

I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. -- Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. -- What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? -- He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places. -- In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God

Your word has given me life.

The first man Adam became a living being. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

As the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. -- I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. -- For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.

I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart.

Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. -- The LORD is well pleased for His righteousness' sake; He will exalt the law and make it honorable. -- Unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

What the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. -- Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
