The LORD is in your midst.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. -- Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, "Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you." -- The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. -- Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart.

I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain."

December 12 -- Evening

Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.

Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight. -- We made our prayer to our God, and because of them we set a watch against them day and night.

Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. -- If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God. -- Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD.

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. -- Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. -- Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.

Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, "Be strong, do not fear!"

Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power. -- As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. -- Trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. -- Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. -- Being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Fight the good fight of faith. -- Not in any way terrified by your adversaries.

You render to each one according to his work.

No other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. -- We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

When you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. -- After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God. -- LORD, You will establish peace for us, for You have also done all our works in us.

Make His praise glorious.

This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise. -- I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me. Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth. -- Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore. For great is Your mercy toward me, and You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol. -- Who is like You, O LORD, ... glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? -- I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. -- They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty!"

By nature children of wrath, just as the others.

We ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. -- Do not marvel that I said to you, "You must be born again."

Job answered the LORD and said, "Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer You? I lay my hand over my mouth." -- The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?"

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. -- David ... to whom also He gave testimony and said, "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will."

I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy.

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, ... taking the form of a bondservant. -- Even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. -- He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. Jesus wept. -- Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

All of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

Son, go, work today in my vineyard.

You are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. -- As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy." -- Sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. -- Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. -- A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. -- Christ ... loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word

The deep things of God.

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. -- It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.

We have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man; ... that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

December 17 -- Morning

Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.

It is the Spirit who gives life. -- The Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. -- Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance.

I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have given me life. -- The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. -- The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. -- If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. -- This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

No one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Do not be deceived; evil company corrupts good habits.

Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven. I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. ... I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner - not even to eat with such a person. -- That you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.

Let us ... come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. -- You did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

I did not say to the seed of Jacob, "Seek Me in vain." -- Therefore, ... having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. -- We may boldly say, "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. -- The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. -- If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free. -- Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

He who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. -- Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness.

Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon his God. -- Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholds him with His hand. -- The commandment is a lamp, and the law a light.

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me. I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me forth to the light; I will see His righteousness.

The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
