The Spirit helps our weaknesses.

The Helper, the Holy Spirit. -- Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? -- It is God who works in you.

We do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. -- A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench.

The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

You shall put the two stones on the shoulders of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel, and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD.

Jesus, ... because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. -- Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory.

Seeing ... that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace.

The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by Him, who shelters him all the day long, and he shall dwell between His shoulders.

That night the king could not sleep.

You hold my eyelids open. -- Who is like the LORD our God, ... who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in the heavens and in the earth?

He does according to His will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth. -- Your way was in the sea, Your path in the great waters, and Your footsteps were not known. -- Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; the remainder of wrath You shall restrain.

The eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is completely His. -- We know that all things work together for good to those who love God.

Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

The love of the Spirit. -- The Helper, the Holy Spirit. -- In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them, and He bore them and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; so He turned Himself against them as an enemy, and He fought against them.

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. -- Having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession. -- I say then, walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

The Spirit ... helps in our weaknesses.

I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face.

Your iniquities have separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you. -- My beloved had turned away and was gone. ... I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer. -- I hid and was angry, and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart. I have seen his ways, and will heal him. -- Have you not brought this on yourself, in that you have forsaken the LORD your God when He led you in the way?

He arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. -- I will heal their backsliding; I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep.

The Chief Shepherd. -- I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. -- I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. -- I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick. -- You were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who trust in Him.

Praise the LORD of hosts, for the LORD is good, for His mercy endures forever. -- God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. -- I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, My God; in Him I will trust." -- Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help and the sword of your majesty! -- As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. -- Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? -- Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We look for the Savior.

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good works. -- We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you look forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.

Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; and to those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. -- And it will be said in that day, "Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us; this is the LORD; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation."

Run in such a way that you may win.

The lazy man says, "There is a lion outside." -- Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

I press toward the goal. -- I run in such a way, not with uncertainty. I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest possibly ... I myself should be disqualified.

The form of this world is passing away.

Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you look forward to these things, be diligent. -- Gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
