They overcame ... by the blood of the Lamb.

Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died. -- It is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. -- I am the LORD. The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you.

There is ... no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from? ... These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

God will wipe away every tear; ... there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, ... for the former things have passed away.

He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; for the LORD has spoken. -- Your sun shall no longer go down, nor shall your moon withdraw itself; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. -- The inhabitant will not say, "I am sick"; the people who dwell in it will be forgiven their iniquity. -- There will no longer be heard in her the voice of weeping and the sound of crying. -- Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! -- The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. Then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory."

The things which are not seen are eternal.

Raised ... up together ... in Christ Jesus.

Do not be afraid; ... I am He who lives. -- Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am.

We are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. -- He is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead. -- You are complete in Him, who is the head.

Inasmuch ... as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

A bondservant of Jesus Christ.

You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. -- If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. -- Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

What things were gain to me, those I have counted loss for Christ. -- Having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. -- You are no longer a slave, but a son.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh.

I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel.

His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor. -- Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. -- Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. -- Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. -- Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it," whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. -- Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established. -- He knows the way that I take. -- A man's steps are of the LORD; how then can a man understand his own way?

You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. -- This is God, our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death.

I am the LORD your God; walk in My statutes, and keep My judgments, and do them.

As He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct. -- He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him. -- Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters. -- Whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God. -- Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes.

Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. -- The God of peace ... make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ.

I have exalted one chosen from the people.

Indeed He did not take upon Himself the nature of angels, but He took on Himself the seed of Abraham. In all things He had to be made like His brethren. -- On the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. -- The Son of Man who is in heaven. -- Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.

He made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men; and being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow. -- Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.

As the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.

Our Savior Jesus Christ ... has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. -- I am the resurrection and the life. -- Because I live, you will live also. -- We have become partakers of Christ. -- Partakers of the Holy Spirit. -- Partakers of the divine nature. -- The first man Adam became a living soul; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come ... who lives forever and ever. -- The blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality. -- To the King eternal, immortal, ... be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Let us not be desirous of vain glory.

Gideon said to them, "I would like to make a request of you, that each of you would give me the earrings from his plunder." For they had gold earrings, because they were Ishmaelites. And they answered, "We will gladly give them." And they spread out a garment, and each man threw into it the earrings from his plunder. And Gideon made it into an ephod and set it up in his city, Ophrah; and all Israel played the harlot with it there; it became a snare to Gideon and to his house.

Do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them. -- Lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me.

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. -- Love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me.

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity.

I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me. -- Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. -- If the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

He saved them for His name's sake, that He might make His mighty power to be known. -- Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your mercy, and because of Your truth.

Fellowship in the gospel.

As the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. -- That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. -- These words Jesus spoke. I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us.

Take heed to yourself.

Everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run in such a way, not with uncertainty. I fight in such a way, not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. -- Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. -- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. -- Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.

Jesus said to her, "Mary."

Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. -- The sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.

The foundation of God stands firm, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are His." -- We have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God.

You shall take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel. And Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD on his two shoulders as a memorial. And you shall make the breastplate of judgment. And you shall mount on it four rows of stones. And the stones shall have the names of the sons of Israel ... and they shall be over Aaron's heart when he goes in before the LORD.

My brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong. -- I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only. -- The gospel of Christ ... is the power of God to salvation.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. -- I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily. -- We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

The joy of the LORD is your strength. -- Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy.

Jesus Christ our Lord.

JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins. -- He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.

Messiah ... who is called Christ. -- The LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives.

The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. The second Man is the Lord from heaven. -- My Lord and my God! -- You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
