Their Redeemer is strong.

I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins. -- I have given help to one who is mighty. -- The LORD ... your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty one of Jacob. -- Mighty to save. -- Able to keep you from stumbling. -- Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. -- He is able ... to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him.

Is My hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem?

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. -- Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men; and being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

He who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. -- Christ ... suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps.

Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.

I said in my haste, I am cut off from before Your eyes; nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications when I cried to You.

I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing; I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. -- Waters flowed over my head; I said, I am cut off! I called on Your name, O LORD, out of the lowest pit. You have heard my voice; do not hide Your ear from my sighing, from my cry for help. You drew near in the day I called on You, and said, "Do not fear!"

Will the Lord cast off forever? And will He be favorable no more? Has His mercy ceased forever? Has His promise failed forevermore? Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies? And I said, this is my grief; but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High. I will remember the works of the LORD; surely I will remember Your wonders of old. -- I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him.

April 17 -- Morning

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. -- Glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

You are ... a royal priesthood, ... that you may proclaim the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. -- You ... as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. -- By Him, let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.

Draw me; we will run after you.

Everlasting consolation.

I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.

By one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. -- He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. -- I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that day.

The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. -- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? -- The Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. -- So we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

This is not your rest. -- Here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.

Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. -- Christ ... suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. -- The way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

I am the door; if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

No one comes to the Father except through Me. -- Through Him we ... have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. -- Having boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh. -- We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.

Necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel. -- They called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, ... We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. -- The love of Christ compels us.

I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. ... You wicked and lazy servant, ... you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest.

Go ... to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you.

None of the accursed things shall cling to your hand.

Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord, and do not touch what is unclean. -- Dearly beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. -- Hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. -- The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

"Who are You, Lord?" ... "I am Jesus."

It is I; do not be afraid. -- When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you; when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your God, ... your Savior.

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. -- Immanuel, ... God with us.

You shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins. -- If anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. -- Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes, rather who is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Stand fast in the Lord.

My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside.

The LORD loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever. -- The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

The just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul. -- If they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out, that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

If you continue in My word, you are My disciples indeed. -- He who endures to the end shall be saved. -- Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. -- Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. -- He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the book of life.

Enoch walked with God.

Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?

Having made peace through the blood of His cross ... you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight. -- In Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

If, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
