Dawn bought me all of Jeff Johnson and Brian Dunning's SRL music for Christmas and I must say that I really enjoy all of the CDs.  I highly encourage anyone to pick them up. They are well worth the money. Agreed. The Albion CD's are amazing. I also enjoy The Bard and the Warrior. My mom sent me a finals-week package and Tuck was in it. ;D It shall be my first read of the summer, after my last final tomorrow. |

I thought it was pretty good, however I was a little disappointed with the ending. It just seemed like it was too easy in the end.

At first I also was disappointed at the ending, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought it was great. A "good" ending in the true sense. And then I had to ask myself, why did I clamor for bloodshed in the first place? The book, is after all, named "Tuck", and he is a man of peace. When the confessional mix-up happened, I was just laughing and laughing. Great job, Stephen!  |

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this, but...on the alternate "Tuck" book cover, he's holding a sword. In the book though, he mentioned that he prefers a staff & "wouldn't know what to do with an awkward long blade like that." Just a cheesy random thought.  Enjoying the book thoroughly & about halfway through! |

I have always enjoyed all of Lawheads writings. I hae not been able to buy tuck yet but am hoping to get it as a christmas present. I have the other two in the series and love how the story unfolds and comes to life before my eyes.

Just finished it and not disappointed at all but I do agree that SRL could have given us a little more battle action toward the end a little more closing info on what happened with the cast. But the end was truly "good" as someone stated already. Thats what I love about SRL he always manages to do the genre justice, while bringing to which ever one it is at the time a hard edge and a intriguingly smooth connection to reality.  |
