The UK hardcover edition has now been released. (The UK paperback should be coming soon, perhaps within a month.)

WELL. Tuck was a wonderful book, and closed off the trilogy well. The ending, despite its "anti-climactic"-ness, was actually a very satisfying and realistic closure. My only real regret is that Scarlet took a very backseat role, which is sort of surprising following up a novel that was named for him.
The deception & disguise episode was particularly amazing, as was Baron Neufmarche's journey.
But now our dear SRL has finished his King Raven Trilogy. We've known what he's been doing for the past three and a half years, but now we're left with a very great and intriguing question: What's next? Where will his mastery take us next? I'm incredibly impatient to find out...

Tuck will be the book reviewed by members of the Christian Science Fiction & Fantasy Blog Tour on May 18 - 20. In the past, these tours (including the one for Scarlet in late 2007) have been known to include interviews with the authors by some of the more enterprising bloggers. You'll want to check the tour during these dates to see what's being said about Tuck. You might even want to join the tour and include your own review.

Tuck was amazing! I loved the part where the Normans open the barn and the Cymru basically release a wall of arrows. King William probably just about wet his pants. I liked how at the end it described the war as it would be in a well-written historical document--it was a good way to flesh it out without resulting in a thousand page book (though I would have been happy with that too.)

Jeff Johnson and Brian Dunning have released the third volume of King Raven, music inspired by Lawhead's trilogy. King Raven, Vols 1-3, a compilation of all the music on the first two EPs, with four new songs, is available now from Ark Music. Click on the image below to order or to hear clips of the music. There is also a brief quotation from "Angharad's Traveling Prayer" in Tuck, used as the basis for the song "The Three Who Stand." Dawn bought me all of Jeff Johnson and Brian Dunning's SRL music for Christmas and I must say that I really enjoy all of the CDs. I highly encourage anyone to pick them up. They are well worth the money.
