Yeah. That will work. Besides, having a few horses will certainly help hunt stags and other large game.

Too much? Not enough?

I think you've done a tremendous job. I like the level of detail you have. It is certainly something that we can expand on as time progresses but you've given a great deal to work with already.

Thanks Dred. I just don't want to go overboard and kill the whole thread.

No. I don't think you'll do that. I think we're all busy and just trying to figure out exactly how we want to proceed. Once we get things moving it will all fall into place.

Kaie's personality is now public property. I may return in a year or so... but I have no clue what will have changed, so feel free to do with her as you will. I can always make a new character should I ever return.

It's sad to see you leaving us but I know that you have a great deal to take care of on your end. Return to us when you can. There will be a place waiting for you.

I'm glad you've been pulled in. I imagine you can keep your character the way it is. We can help you with the RPing when you want help. I've done a fair amount of RPing myself. Glad you're settled in. BTW - I'm not taking full control of the man we have in our posession. I'm playing with some ideas about him being a warrior for a tribe I had encountered years earlier.

I've updated the resources to show debinoxford's entry into the RPG. She will definitely be able to keep the character. I think it works out rather well actually. deb, I sent you a PM regarding the character and the Sherwydd post. I have also added a list of characters that are being played by us, RPCs. I need some more information on the characters. Just send me a PM with some of the stats I have question marks on and I will update them.

Hello, fellow Sherwydd dwellers! I'm am working through my character as I speak and have yet to figure out everything. So far, I'm a gourmet cook/chef in the real world and a gatherer and cook in the Otherworld. My name, I think, is Kerensa (haven't totally decided) and I'm a visitor rather than a native of Sherwydd. (pronounced Ka-RIN-sah -- it's a Cornish name that means "Love") That's all I have right now. I'll join you soon! (I just have a busy week and I like to have everything ready in my head:))

Ok, Kaie's history, for those who want to know... I wrote this a while back... so I'm ready to go. Know this is all incredibly flexible! If you want to take this idea a different way, I'm all there!
Kaie was found in Otherworld by the team, a child of five, lost in the woods near a burnt out cottage. The team had been escaping a pursuing band of outlaws (perhaps these same Campbells) and had to take the child with them. She grew up as they prepared the next foray, and they trained her with returning her in mind.
Now, I thought that, to make things interesting... her father could be the chieftan of a clan and trying to move up in the world by creating a small kingdom for himself. She has been seen by someone since her return, and her family resemblence is such that a couple clan warriors have been sent to see if she really is his daughter. He has need of a bargaining chip for an alliance with a nearby settlement and a marriageable daughter would be excellent bait for the reluctant leader.
This could go two ways... with the abduction of Kaie, or she could choose to go... enamored with the thought of meeting her family. Finding out her father's plans would send any modern girl running for the hills, and she knows just the people to help her stop him from taking over their world.

I'm pretty flexible in how you wish to play it out. I can either be overpowered by superior numbers or take the men before me while you are taken while my back is turned. The men I cut down, need not die either. They can be wounded. Just play it as you like.

Ok, all you slackers! There's enough story here for all of you!
Arm twisting will soon commence. *grin*
(Please, please, please drop in here and add a bit from time to time!)
It doesn't have to follow Kaie, for goodness sake. I'll take care of her bit. I'm sure there are other changes affecting y'all because of this looney guy trying to make himself king. Have fun with it!
