I'd much rather be famous than know someone who is. Maybe someday I'll say, "Yeah I knew Fantasy Fan from the Stephen Lawhead forum... we go way back."

ok... Everything by Yimou Zhang is great. Hands down. Just saw A Very Long Engagement a little while ago and was disappointed at first, but after some reflection...loved it. Just as good as Amelie but in a different way. Any one who thinks the singing in Phantom of the Opera was OMG WONDERFUL really needs to get out more. I hear people everyday who are way way better than they are. Granted I'm a voice major but still!! Napolean Dynamite, good/funny movie. Over quoted but good nonetheless. I saw The Spongebob movie at the 2 dollar theater a little while back and its surprisingly funny! nice way to just shut your brain up and laugh like a kid for 85 minutes. I havn't seen Aviator yet. That is next on my list. I intend to see Sideways as well but I may just wait and rent that one. Don't know. Don't know how many of you are into kung fu stuff but Kill Bill is one of my all time fav. movies. its just really awesome. Someone mentioned Big Fish....also a great movie. Tim Burton rocks my face. I guess he has a new claymation movie coming out. I think I saw a preview for it that looked really good. Some one also mentioned Hitchhiker's Guide...well this movie looks like it won't be disappointing. If you haven't seen the trailer yet here is the link.. www.movie-list.com/trailers.php?id=hitchhikersguidetothegalaxyThis also looks good. Prolly won't be as good as The Celtic Crusades which I loved but it has Orlando Bloom and Jeremy Irons in it!!! www.apple.com/trailers/fox/kingdom_of_heaven/I guess that about covers it for now.

I have recenlty seen Constantine. Thinking it would be pretty cool and while it certainly started off in that direction, but peaked way too early and the rest was horrible. It had potential though. At least thats what i think. And there were some classic moments, that I will not forget for a while.

Y'know, I actually thought about seeing that for awhile, until I read the review in world mag. they pretty much said it sucked.

Hmmm...I LOVED Phantom of the Opera...I thought they did an excellent job singing...would have loved to hear Josh Groban do some of it though, lol.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding A lot of people see this movie and think it is a joke...or at least an exaggeration. Maybe for Nia Vardalos's family...but for my family it doesn't even come close, lol. Except for we are Italian and they are Greek, lol. Anyway...the movie is very heart-warming, humorous, with a fun soundtrack...of course, it reminds me of weddings because...well, that's what we dance to! It was refreshing to see a "real sized" actress star, and not a human toothpick, lol. A real classic that will be around for a while, it gets a 5/5.

haha, its funny cause that family isn't really all that exaggerated. A friend of mine who is Italian says her family is just like that.
mmmm...Josh Groban *drools*

I saw Constantine 'bout a week ago. I liked it, probably one of the better movies of the year.

yep pretty much sums it up beggining was sweet. Ending was bad I thought the ending was good--and the whole of the movie maintained a position that was true (if only at times in spirit) to the Hellblazer comics. It was nice to see a superhero movie that didn't emphasize "HEY LOOK, THE MAIN CHARACTER'S A SUPERHERO," focusing instead on the story. I loved Constantine.

I am going to be a famous singer(maybe)some day and you know me? W00T!!! Cool. It can happen to anyone but sometimes it takes as much luck as it does talent. Gretchen Wilson comes from a town just outside of my college hometown. I used to hang out with my friends at her mom's bar. ;D Now I wish I'd gotten to know her better.....

Whoah, I didn't realize there were bad comments of Constantine on here. What kinda bulls*** is that? That movie rocked, and every one of my group of friends that went to see it with me like it too (and that rarely happens).

I haven't heard any bad comments about the movie until now either, so I'm hoping to check it out some weekend when I don't have to work.
