Is this the same movie about Homer and the trials he went through to return home to see his wife and son? I thought that was a really good movie. You mean Odysseus, not Homer. Homer wrote The Illiad and the Odyssey, Odysseus is the main character of the latter.

Just saw Unbreakable last night--my first Shyamalan. It's...wow. Pretty good. PG 13 (for those of you--if any--who care about ratings.) It's a superhero movie with a difference; it exchews big fights in favour of character-driven moments. Some say the twist is cheesy, but I really like it. (Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned the twist, though. )

Unbreakable was weak compared to Shyamalan's other works....personally, i liked Signs the best.

Chicago A great rendition of the Broadway classic...very sensual, very active, and tons of energy. I love it...especially the dancing...it is phenomenal! Catherine Zeta Jones is gorgeous as usual...even Richard Gere is decent, which is saying a lot, lol. Don't watch this if you get offended by sex, colorful language, "suggestions", etc. Cell Block Tango is my most favoritest scene...I give this movie a 5/5.

Please... The Villiage has been his best, by far. I've seen Signs and The Village... Liked them both. I didn't know he did those as well.... Interesting. This might be an easier sell than I thought.....

I think that the Sixth Sense was easily his best movie. Man, that movie gave me the chills. The Village was really good too, but I think the twist in Sixth Sense was better. But back to the movie critiques. The Phantom of the OperaHoly freakin' Moses, what a beautiful movie. The sets, the costumes, the music, everything about this movie was stunning. Especially the beginning, starting in 1919 with an auction at the rundown Paris Opera House, and then going into the overture, which shows the opera house "coming back to life". The transitions between songs and scenes were well done and interesting, and I especially enjoyed the transition from "The Mirror & Angel of Music" to "Phantom of the Opera". The acting was good too, and the singing was phenominal. And a movie to avoid is the Star Wars Holiday Special. Made in the '70's, I think everyone involved with this was on crack. And while you're watching it, you wonder if you're on crack or LSD too, and just didn't realize it. This, well it isn't really a movie, is so bad it isn't even funny. It's just painful, and a darn good waste of an hour of your life.

WHAT? .......ok, fine, it was REALLY cheezy.....but it's a must have for Star Wars fans.....i've got it on both VHS and DVD.....there was a good part to that movie, though.....the Boba Fett cartoon.....bet you didn't know that was his first appearance ever.
