I have created a new game, but I'm giving those who played last time, first crack at it.
However, I'm not opposed to running two games, so those of you returning from Diamonds, to join the Powys game, would you be interested in playing two games at once?
The idea I had is playing a variant of the game which allows 9 players vs. 7 players, so we can bring in more people from the forum.
If you would be interested in playing a game like this, whether new to diplomacy or joining the Powys game, please let me know so I can tell how much interest we have.
Thanks

I would be interested again, if I can remember how to play. *puts novice target on chest* Great! Well I have created the game anyway and hopefully we can get enough people to play. We care looking for 9 people this time. That means, there are 9 countries, instead of the typical 7. To view the map changes, just click here... Loeb9 VariantMake sure you click on each rule for the game to get an understand of what can and can't be done. www.floc.net/dpjudge/?game=lawhead********************************************* To join with a random country, send an e-mail from the account you registered with to: dpjudge@floc.net Make the subject: lawhead Enter this text in the body... We added two countries, so this should be interesting. You and DanTheMan should go ahead and sign up for it if you want to. We'll leave this out here for a few weeks and then I'll start inviting people from outside Lawhead's to join.

I might try it if yall don't hold my novice ways in diamonds against me. Heh... doesn't matter to me man... that's what makes this games interesting.... Sometimes, it's the loose canons that change the course of the game. Last time it was Germany... this time it was you. I'm sure in the next game, it will be someone else. Here's a rule of thumb for everyone though... try not to lie to more than one person at a time... Sometimes, you can't keep from it, but if you tick too many people off at once, they all turn on you at once. Oh, and don't publicly burn your bridge with countries that might be able to pull your bacon out of the frying pan later in the game..... Gwal....

What? I thought I was doing a good job publicly? I'm confused. Besides, I was trying to contradict Dgan's press

What? I thought I was doing a good job publicly? I'm confused. Besides, I was trying to contradict Dgan's press LOL! You contradicted dgan's press beautifully... You were so good, in fact, that I felt I could never trust you again or help you if you were in a jam.... it turned me agaisnt you and cemented in my mind, that I must destroy you. That's what I mean by burning your bridges... It's like in one of my Owls games... I was Turkey... and was being attacked by EVERYONE... Even France was in a E/G/F alliance... and the A/I alliance joined them... it was rough. I lost my temper with the "juggernaugt" talk and told them to quit being so dense... I told them all that I wasn't the threat, that Italy and England were... that they were masters of deceit and would rule the board. I urged everyone to turn against them. I ended up turning Austria and France to my side though.... but I burned my bridge with England... It wasn't until the tables were turned in 1907 that he hated Russia more than me... I lost, but took 16 centers. Now, he's my ally in another game. The point is... I got LUCKY. Going public against someone is just a death sentance in most games... Just my own opinion though.

I keep hearing about this game and I was wondering if someone could tell me how I can get in on the action. Thanks. Sure! It's all explained in the Diplomacy Anyone thread... basically the first two pages. In a Nutshell... here's what you do. 1) Sign up with the DPJudge Website www.floc.net/dpjudge/dppd/2) To join the game, send an e-mail to dpjudge@floc.net 3) Place the game's name in your subject (in plain text)... lawhead 4) Include only ONE of these in the body of your e-mail (in plain text)... JOIN lawhead yourPassword HOOD SIGNOFF or JOIN powerChoice@lawhead yourPassword HOOD SIGNOFF Simply replace "yourPassword" with the password you used to create an account at DPJudge. If choosing a specific country, replace "powerChoice" with the country you want to play. Once nine people have signed up, the game will commence. I found this site useful when first signing up to play... www.diplom.org/Email/newintro.htmlAlso, make sure you are sending the request from the e-mail account you registered with at DPJudge.
