 It wouldn't be good press unless it was vile and hate filled...throw in some profanity and we've got ourselves a game!  EDIT: I'm joking, of course - we do not use profanity...I don't want to scare off the newbies.

Heh... I actually got in trouble in a public game for being too harsh in my press... I ended up breaking a house rule and getting reprimanded. I won't post my comment here, but I'll gladly tell you guys what I said if you PM me.  |

Man, I just got to say two things about diplomacy.
1)It is ADDICTING. No matter if you feal like you are winning or loosing.
2)It can be convicting too. While, we have played I found that the lying and backstabbing involved has convicted me a lil. Anybody else ever felt that way?
If so you can answer me in a pm (that is if you don't want to reveal your sensitive soul to your other SRL opponents)
Oh well, I hope someone from the forum comes out on top. Loved the experience...see ya'll next round.

Loved the experience...see ya'll next round. Meh... I'll pipe in here publicly. In my first game, Shane betrayed me in a way I didn't expect. He fed my moves to my enemy, keeping me tied up until he won. But it taught me a valuable lesson. Check your feelings at the door when you play this game. It's just that... a game. It just happens to be a game where you have to deceive people to get ahead. You can't allow convictions to play any role in this game, or you'll lose. Badly. I'm living proof of that in this game. I compare it to Survivor in that you have to form an alliance and ride that alliance as long as you can. Tick off too many people at once, you risk them uniting against you and "voting" you out. Anyway, don't feel bad about lying. it's the only way to get ahead in the game. |
