Cool.
I'll want to read book one again anyway, to be sure I'm totally up-to-speed. My single copy of book one will go into the novelty section, along with the DVD promo for the stage show, the festival-copy of issue #2 of the comic, and the humungus poster (about 5' tall) advertising !Hero.

I'm signing this petition. I found the first book to be amazing and consider the series' death a literary tragedy. Mr. Lawhead, you must finish the trilogy.
Really, tell Navpress to name their price.

I just finished "City of Dreams"... what is the status of the other two books in the trilogy? Apparently there was some information posted that I missed.

The deal with NavPress went sour for reasons he can no longer disclose since he deleted the thread. However, suffice it to say they shot themselves in the foot and SRL is working on getting it republished through a more honest company.

I hope the rest of the Trio get published as I loved the first one and it would be a great shame for the series to die because it cant get published

HERO NEWS... Coming Soon: RETURN of the HERO
Here's a quick update on the publishing state of play for Hero. We are currently working on finishing the third book of the series (World Without End) in the hope of attracting a new publisher. That seems to be working inasmuch as we have an offer pending to re-release the project. Whether it will be as three new books, or one omnibus edition is not certain yet. It's a publishing/marketing decision, but I'll let you know when these details have been nailed down.
Cheers! SRL

Should I buy the first one anyway? Barnes & Noble still has fifteen copies... I would! (Heck, I already did. ) if for no other reason than to have it and compare to the new version.

What news?
Were the last two editions in the trilogy ever published? Was there an omnibus edition?
