Well, Robin Hood will probably first meet up with his old, blind family friend 'blinkin and Achoo. From there I'm sure Lawhead will lead us in a series of hilarious misadventures involving a very large, blonde man who can't swim named Little John and maiden princess with a chastity belt... Don't forget his half-brother and the Sherriff of Rottingham....

Heh. As I've stated before (I think,) I would actually prefer that Lawhead use as little of the Celtic mythos as possible. As someone else said, I read Lawhead because he is Lawhead, not because he writes Celtic fantasy. And as Patrick showed, you can only do so much with that mythos before you start repeating yourself--rather like I do. . That's what excited me about the possibility of a Robin Hood novel--it would give Lawhead an unexplored culture to kick around in. However, I'll read it either way, and I'm sure it will be great. Look forward to it. Et cetera. [EDIT: The idea of having minor "Celtic" figures is a good one--Lawhead could have his proverbial cake and have the eating of it as well. Could work.]

I LOVED that movie! It was the funniest thing ever... granted, I was eleven.

Great! Robin Hood ala Lawhead ought to be a great read. I thoroughly enjoy his celtic themes; Albion is probably my favorite since I have Scottich heritage. Look forward to reading it.
