Hey, Brett, 30. Australian Backpacker, currently bartending in a Hostel in Edinburgh, Scotland. A Divorced 'gypsy' who has travelled most of Australia, Scotland, Asia and the South Pacific. Teaching myself Gaelic ( yes, its VERY hard ), The Irish Tin Whistle and The Bodrhan. Fan of SL for 10 years. Favourites are Patrick, The Celtic Crusades and The Pendragon Cycle. I write poetry for a hobby, Country songs for a guy in the States and am currently writing my first Novel which is a pain because ( I dont know if this is common ) I have 3 or 4 ideas crammed up there that cloud the mind when trying to focus on one!!!!! Being a bartender IS cool for the sheer amount of characters I have met and stories I have to tell, its bad because there is ALWAYS someone trying to get me drunk and well, I always was a sucker for peer pressure.!!

Greetings. Great to see another Aussie here - look foward to reading some of your bar stories - What part of our fine continent do you initially hail from?

hey! Matheus, 18, São Paulo, Brazil. I´ve been reading Lawhwead for only one year, but up to now I have read most of his books. I have lived in the UK for 3 years, and love the celtic culture. I play the tin whistle, low whistle, saxophone, piano, and some other crazy international flutes. Right now i´m studying, getting into college. my favorite book is the Bible, which I am finishing for the fifth time (yes, even though my age..), and I really love making new friends! God bless u all

Welcome! College is a necessary evil...don't give up on it. Now I just have one question...can you play the tin whistle and read Lawhead at the same time?

Hi, my name is Keith T. Goodson. I live in Baton Rouge Louisiana but I do not like it here alot. I stumbled upon Lawheads work about 6 years ago and it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I am not married yet. I have been with someone for three years and hope to tie the knot soon. I am in college and look forward to go on to teach English in college at some point. I look forward to chating with you all. P.S. how do you add an image To every man there openeth a way and ways and a way, and the high soul treads the highway, and the low soul gropes the low, and in between on the misty flats the rest drift to and fro, but to every man there openeth a highway and a low, and every man decideth the way his soul should go. -- J. No, but I do go to the games. I attend Southeastern Louisiana University. ( because both my parents are teachers and My father when to LSU and said went he got out he was not prepared and My Mom went to SELU and said she could not have been more prepared. So I opted for SELU.)

Sounds like a wise choice. I imagine it is probably easier on the pocketbook as well.
As far as your other questions, I'm sure a Mod will gladly be harrassing you with information. Otherwise, you may find the answer to your questions in the Forum Help thread. I'm an idiot when it comes to internet stuff, or I'd help you myself. I know you have to PM someone to "apply" for House entry, but I'm not sure who. Probably Twyrch or Dred could help you out with that.
There's my lack of help for the evening. Back to work...

P.S. how do you add an image... By the way how do you join a house? Most of your questions can be answered in the Frequently Asked Questions area. I have recently updated it to include information on the forum houses as well.
