My name is Adam (as you may have guessed)
I live in Bedfordshire, England in a small village, very near to the birthplace of John Bunyan.
I have read Lawhead since being given Empyrion by a friend many years ago.
Along with literature music is my other love.
I am 38 years old and work at the moment re-developing my property an old schoolhouse, dating from the mid 1800’s.
As mentioned on another post I am an ex-Jehovah’s Witness, so I cant give too much personal information away. Another witness reading it may pass it on to our Elders. Then my family will not be able to talk to me anymore as they are still in. Doubters are disfellowshiped.
However if anyone should wish to know more about me they are welcome to contact me by e-mail.

Wow, Jeremy. You really love to post. Not as much as you would think from my number of posts. I don't believe in SPAMMING forums with useless tripe. I won't post something unless I think other people will care about the topic.

Wow... Come into the General Discussions sometime and introduce yourself. I'll do that. I never seem to have the time I want to get very far in the forum. I get caught right at the beginning. I'll make more time and do a bit more there.

No worries, man. It's cool with me. I only like to say something, if it will spark intelligent conversation. (like this useless one... hehehehe just kidding. )

Welcome to the boards, both of you. LOL, considering that I registered before you, but whatever. Thanks for the kind welcome! I just realized my breach forum etiquette- I didn't welcome you! Sorry! And welcome!

Oh well... Thanks for the welcome. I always try to welcome people I haven't met yet and with this board, it doesn't give "DATE JOINED" under the username, so I can never tell.

My name is Brian and I've been a Lawhead fan since the late 90s. (This sounds strangely like an AA introduction). My first Lawhead book was Avalon, which I read twice in a row (I was on pain killers recovering from surgery the first time and I wasn't entirely sure that I had read it all).
I'm a native Alabamian living in exile in Lexington, KY, going to school at the aged but oddly named Transylvania University where I am studying English Literature and Philosophy--not vampirism. I'm an aspiring poet, and I've got one cycle of Arthurian poetry completed.

Hello Everyone, My name is Juan Eduardo Eguiguren. I am from Santiago, Chile but I am currently liiving in Geneva, Switzerland (but I will be returning to Chile in a months time). The first Lawhead book I read was 'The Iron Lance', which I purchased either in the summer of 1997 or 1998. Having read it and given great reviews of it to my father at the time, I was quickly rewarded with 'Pendragon' from the Pendragon Cycle as a gift. I read it and quickly decided to go on to reading Taliesin, Merlin, Arthur, Pendragon (once again), and the Grail. After than I decided to re read the Iron Lance and after that The Black Rood and The Mystic Rose. In addition I read both Avalon - The return of King Arthur and Byzanthium (both of which I loved). The only book which I read but I didnt quite like was 'In the hall of the dragon King'... but I guess its because I am not really into science fiction, but rather into historical fiction and historical fantasy. I have just finished my first year of International Relations here at Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland, but I just got accepted into English Literature at the 'Pontificia Universidad Catolica' in Santiago, Chile so I am quite glad to take a more litteral route in life. For a while now I have been working with the Lionhead Community and I have been administrating a Fable fansite (Fable being a game for the Xbox console), and I have been quite glad to be in touch with such a large community. I have traveled my whole life and I am actively involved with international organizations. I am currently working part time for the Red Cross (but only for server related buisnesses) and I have done internships at the United Nations both in New York City and here in Switzerland. I have been organizing a trip to Palestine in order to act as intermediates (International Human Shield), but seeing as how the situation is right now, its on hold. Hopefully there wont be any need and Israel will comply peacefully with Palestine. But alas, only time will tell. That I think is more than enough for now

I'm luke, I live in oshawa (just east of toronto) in canada. I've been reading lawhead books for most of my life (in my earlier years, I had the books read to me). I've read the pendragon cycle (and avalon) and byzantium about 3 or 4 times (though I've probably read taliesin alone 7 times, heh..), and all of the other books (with the exception of the two empyrion books, I've only read a bit of the first one) at least once..
I'm 20 years old, and I study 'music and culture' at the university of toronto.. i'm also a singer-songwriter, musician type of guy.. (I actually took up the celtic harp because of the influence lawhead's books had on me.. I was also going to attend 'u of t' for celtic studies but didn't get accepted into the course ..lol) I do some visual art as well, including website design.. I'd love to write stories someday, maybe in the form of screenplays for films.
anyway, nice to meet you all

I spend a few years in Wilmore and Nicholasville while my dad went to Asbury Theological Seminary. Pleased to meet you.

I seem to be a bit remiss, here, and should take an example from twyrch. To everyone who's just joined, "Welcome," and to everyone who's posted, "pleased to meet you." Sounds like we've got a pretty eclectic group here.

Sounds like we've got a pretty eclectic group here. Yep! It looks that way. I love diversity in forums such as this. You tend to get a fresh perspective on things through everyone's various backgrounds. I love the fact that people are here from OUTSIDE the United States as well. That just puts a whole new light on some discussions. I'm looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you.

Hi, I'm Maggie and I'm addicted to Stephen Lawhead's books. Now you say "Hi Maggie"...never mind. Joking aside, my name is Maggie, and I just turned 17 today. I live in semi-rural Pennsylvania, although I was born on my granparents farm, so I spent a good portion of my younger life playing in the woods. Aside from literature my interests/passions are music (I sing soprano), horses, archaeology, and languages. (I know some French, Latin, and plan to try to teach myself Scottish Gaelic). I guess my first Lawhead book was Taliesin, although I only got half way through it. The first book I read the whole way through was In the Hall of the Dragon King. And since my mom really likes Lawhead's books too, we have almost all of them at my house. And I'm going to shut up now. Toodles!
