ha! Yeah, I had the Bears riding the bench so I could start the Ravens - great move....so far, Weeks 1 and 2 combined, I have left 90+ points sitting on my bench. It's not that I don't have a good team, I am just not starting the right guys.
Oh well, 0-2...it can only go up from here.

I'm 1-1 on both teams. Ok. But I NEED Culpepper to start playing GOOD. C'mon man!

Wow...do they ever have probs up there. I feel sort of bad for Culpepper because it's not ALL his fault. I mean, the defense has been a huge let down thus far, the running game is MIA, and the coaching...yeah...Mike Tice is the lowest paid coach in the league for a reason. You get what you DON'T pay for.
Then again, Culpepper's kind of a jerk, so I don't mind him taking the criticism either.

I'm 1-1 as well. I am waiting for a breakout game from my quarterback, Manning. The Colts defense is good this year... great... why can't the offense be as strong too?

You know, I would be encouraged by Manning's lack of production. Because, more than likely, he is going to go on a stretch where he just freaks out. If you go .500 when he is not throwing 4 TDs a game, I think you'll be happy at the end of the year.

With Vick hurting his hammy (or so I thought), I went looking for a backup QB since I knew Joey Harrington wasn't going to get the job done. I considered Trent Dilfer, Gus Ferrote, and Eli Manning. Manning has been more consistent and has easier opponents in weeks 3 and 4 so I picked him up and started him instead of Vick. So, of course, Vick has a good afternoon and I grumble, "Figures." But! When I checked this morning how my team did yesterday I was dually impressed. Manning had an awesome game last night and Tomlinson and an even better game. My team has over 130 points and my opponent has something in the 60's. I am pleased.

Just in case my esteemed husband neglected to mention it, I think I was the one who suggested that we get Eli Manning and play him this week for our team, "The Incredibles". But I have to admit, I am also pleased.

Well, we did discuss it. We both agreed that Joey had to go, and we reviewed our options. There wasn't too much to discuss, though, considering the other two options. In any case, we're both happy!

On my Yahoo FF team, I have a decision to make. For my 2nd RB, I have to choose between Stephen Davis playing against Green Bay, or Lamont Jordan against Dallas. I've chosen Davis, but I'm not real sure. Any opinions or suggestions?

dallas is playing good D against the run - i would go with Davis
(oh I wish I could really have the luxury of picking between those two backs...)

I picked Stephen Davis up off waivers 2 weeks ago. Someone apparently thought he would be hurt all season. He does have a history of injuries, but I thought I'd risk it.

Yeah, if Davis plays, Green Bay's defense his horrible. If he doesn't play...well...
BTW Dan, always follow your wife's inclinations. I don't know how they know, but for some reason a woman's minute of intuition is always more accurate than my 2 hours of research. Yet more proof that God has a sense of humor.
Tomlinson saved me...I was down my 40something points with Tomlinson, Trent Green and Tony Gonzales still to play, so I thought I could pull it off. It's a good thing Tomlinson went bezerk because Kansas City is really stinking it up offensively this year.
Cree - despite picking first overall, I had the lowest avg point total in my league over the first two weeks. Things changed for me in week 3, so hopefully they'll turn around for you as well.
I just traded Willie Parker (I think he's lived out his usefulness now that Staley is getting healthy) for Housmanzadahadjflsjlaldskjaf or whatever his name is....we'll see how that works out for me. Watch Cinci just tank now.
