So I found this out yesterday and I'll too excited about it. My favorite singer. . .Collin Raye. . .he's coming to Albuquerque and there are tickets still available! w00t! And get this. . .it's only $20 for a seat and $10 for general admissions. . .I so have to convince myself to spend this money! I mean, it'll be a nice way to spend the 4th of July (day he'll be in town) and it'll be uberly cool to go see him. . .
Does anyone else like Collin Raye? Has anyone been to a concert?

I like some of Collin Raye's songs and Green Day rocks. That sucks that Green Day's tickets are so expensive. If I were you, I would spend the money to see Collin Raye. The tickets are very reasonable and you may never have the chance to see him again.
I so want to see Rascal Flatts in concert. Everytime they are in Peoria, we don't have the money. Maybe some day.

Yeah, that's the way I am with Collin. . .but I think I'm going to do it. I mean. . .I've only been trying for like the last 4 years to go see him and my dad and sister have gotten to see him in concert and they aren't totally in love with him like I am

"Boulevard of broken dreams" is one of my favorite songs... but $132?? Jeez. A couple of years ago Creed came to Evansville. $40 a ticket. I thought that was expensive, but now i wish I'd gone.

My favorite band would have to be the Newsboys, I think. I also like The Chieftains.
My favorite solo artist -- Hands down, Steven Curtis Chapman.

Choosing a favorite band is like choosing a favorite author. I can't do that.
Music depends on mood.
That being said, the best show I've ever seen was Train. And, it was free. It was several years ago, back just before they made it huge with "Meet Virginia"--they played the lawn at a small college about 45 minutes from my house. It was great.

I also like The Chieftains. I will trust your recommendation, dreamer. Based on that, I will make plans to go hear them next weekend. Thanks!

Iona would be my favorite - a celtic christian progressive rock band named after the island where Columba founded his monastary.
I'm starting to like Jeff Johnson a lot more, I've always liked U2, and I like Ten Shekel Shirt. A few on my horizon are Eden's Bridge, Karnataka, and Dave Bainbridge.

Well, I equally like Evanessence, Third Day, News Boys, PFR, Led Zepplin, Alabama, Enya, Lenny Kravitz, DC Talk U2, Maddona, Shane and Shane and Cademon's Call. Oh, Yeah and that Girl who sings the songs that include the words "I'm like a bird... I wanna fly away," "its the most wonderful day of my life," and "there'll be no white flag above my door;" do any of yall know who I'm talking about? (her name slips me right now; I hate it when that happens) Yet, if I had to choose a "Fave" I'd have to say Dc Talk because of how God used their music to teach me in my younger years. My favorite Dead Solo Artist are Keith Green and Rich Mullins (although I like some female solo artist equally I just can't think of their names) My favorite living solo artist are Glen Kaiser (check him out at JesusPeople.org) and Twila Paris. I just think their lyrics are wonderful (in the old sense of the word.) I look forward to checking out some of the band's you guys posted like Colors and the Cheiftans.
