I just watched The Bourne Identity. Again. I didn't like it the first time, I thought it was crap, but I didn't like thrillers then. Now it's one of my favourite films. And The Bourne Supremacy is even better. Wickedness. Wow. I feel the complete reverse about those movies. The Bourne Identity kept me entertained and interested throughout; The Bourne Supremacy, on the other hand...I've tried to watch it twice, and fell asleep through it both times. I was bored stiff with it's pedantic plot.

I didn't see Bourne Identity until Supremacy came out. It came on TV one afternoon. I ended up watching it and the encore that night. ;D I still haven't seen the sequel, though.

Identity was somewhat original and had great philosophical value. Supremacy was just your basic thriller. I liked both, but thought Identity was much better, and certainly much deeper.
If you like the philosphical backdrop of Bourne Identity more than the action, you would probably enjoy The Terminal with Tom Hanks. I absolutely loved that movie. It was completely under-rated and Tom Hanks (as usual) had a phenomonal performance. I thought it touched along similar lines as Bourne Identity, although in style, it is more comedy than action.

Many thanks; I've corrected it. (I loathe Spaghetti, so I don't get much chance to spell it....)

Mmmm, basketti. I just used to call it spag.
I wouldn't call Supremacy pedantic so much as pretentious. But it's still a wicked film even if you don't quite know what's going on.

Spag doesn't taste of anything. Unless it's tinned in tomato sauce and then it tastes rancid, especially on toast because it makes the toast go all soggy and horrible. But baked beans don't How off topic is this?

But baked beans don't How off topic is this? If you turn it into a screen play about a pile of Spags that comes to life ...and either a) destroys tokyo or b) longs to be a real boy ...and someone makes it into a summer blockbuster movie...AND we all see it ...well, you are not off topic at all. OOH...OOH...maybe the baked beans could come to life as the antagonist and we'd have a city destoying showdown fight between them...or the baked bean boy disguises himself as the spag boy and gets turned into a real boy instead so the spag boy can set out on a quest for revenge...wait...no...too Shrek 2...been there done that.

Has anyone just listed their top ten movie list? Why don't we do just that?
I really couldn't make a top-ten list, it all depends on what I've watched LATELY... but I'll try.
1. gosh, um, how about a five way tie? ;D
okay lemme do this different...
PG movies: 1. "Searching For Bobby Fischer" 2. "National Treasure" 3. "Secondhand Lions"
PG-13 movies: 1. I'll count LOTR as one. 2. "John Q" was awesome... 3. "Spiderman 2" 4. "The Sixth Sense" I know I'm forgetting one or two...
R movies: 1. anything with Mel Gibson (Bravehart, Patriot, Signs, The Passion, are tops) 2. "To End All Wars" 3. I'll count the Matrix trilogy as one... Jeez I can't think of any right now...
anyway thats it....

Diary of a Mad Black Woman
I went and saw this last night. A very good movie. It made me so mad I could spit, made me bawl like a baby, made me laugh so hard my sides hurt, basically, every emotion you could feel. The ending was almost cliche, but cliche with an unexpected twist, if you know what I mean...I don't know how to say it. It was an excellent movie, and I give it a 5/5.

lol...yeah, you should go and see it...it is very good...7 bucks well spent RobotsOk...I am a nut for Pixar films, so I am a little biased...plus I am a HUGE fan of Robin Williams and Ewan McGregor...so...yeah. Needless to say...I LOVED this movie. I laughed the whole time. Lots of potty humor (literally, lol ), a nice "moral" message for the kids, the corny happy ending...you know, typical Disney movie, lol. Not quite as good as Finding Nemo or The Incredibles, imho, but still a good one. I give it a 4/5.
