I really enjoyed Ocean's Twelve. There are quite a few twists that take place. I won't say anything more than that for fear of spoiling it for you and anyone else who hasn't seen it yet though.

I think I may go and see Batman Begins today; if so, I'll post about it later.

I'm really looking forward to it. It's supposed to be the best since Keaton quit playing Batman and that says quite a bit in my book.

I guess I'm seeing Mr./Mrs. Smith later this week - I have a feeling this will be right my alley as far as sarcastic action movies go. I'll let you know what I think.
Batman looks good, but I think I'll wait for the dvd unless you suggest otherwise.

I saw Batman yesterday afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It had good action sequences, and very good acting. The drama and action were well balanced, the humor wasn't forced, and it was all pretty believable. It's a good movie to see in theater; it's got a lot of intensity visually and aurally.

Thanks for that laurelin. That reconfirms my feelings that I need to see it.

According to the producer, this Batman movie is supposed to explain a lot of the history behind Batman, such as the gadgets and such. After seeing the movie, laurelin, do you feel that is a fair representation?

It pretty much explains everything about how Bruce Wayne became Batman, including where he got all those nifty gadgets.

I haven't seen too many new movies lately. I'm only looking forward to the Narnia movie. I have trouble shelling out the cash to see it in the theater. I'll rent National Treasure soon, I think.

Speaking of Batman Begins, I'm planning to see it tomorrow, God willing and the creek don't rise.
Dan_The_Man, definitely watch National Treasure. It has the typical Bruckheimer "everything is historically accurate" bit, but it's some pretty good dumb fun.

National Treasure was great. I really liked it. I know there are historical flaws but I've yet to see a good movie that was 100% historically accurate.
I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith over the weekend. I really enjoyed it. There were some funny scense and others that I just shook my head at. All in all I really liked the film. It was pretty light weigth but the action scenes were fun and a number of other things that I won't go into.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith was a scream. Just plain FUNNY. Brad Pitt has got to be one of my favorite actors ever.

NT was seriously awesome! Even with Nick Cage in it. There's a brief moment near the beginning of the movie where it appears Nick Cage is actually acting for a second! This is new!
Has anyone seen Madagascar? Seriously funny movie. It's the first computer animation movie that's had a lot of physical comedy. It makes you really pay attention to what's going on in the background. Dancing leamers are great!

Batman Begins was amazing. I left longing for some sequels...and then remembered that garbage from the 80's/90's. Bleh, I hope they make some real sequels to Begins, because it's on a whole 'nother plateau then all that other stuff.
