Hi All -
You may receive this twice, as I just forwarded it to Peter to post to the list (since I didn't have my regular email handy), but I then subsribed to the list from this address, so I'm hoping this will work. Anyway, below is an announcement about of a new deal to publish three books by Lawhead - the first is a recreation of the Robin Hood legend. I can't wait! -Donovan
WESTBOW PRESS WINS BID TO PUBLISH STEPHEN LAWHEAD SERIES WestBow Press has won a three-publisher bid for projects by best-selling mainstream novelist Stephen Lawhead. His first series for WestBow will be a recreation of the Robin Hood story.
For his new series, Lawhead will re-create 11th-century Britain and transform the legend of Robin Hood. The first installment in the series will be Lord of the Forest, which is scheduled to release in September 2006.

Three books? I wonder if he'll go the Pendragon route and write each one with a different narrator....

Three books? I wonder if he'll go the Pendragon route and write each one with a different narrator.... Interesting.... He might do something like that... or take the Robin Hood tale in a different direction than we ever dreamed. I'm looking forward to it. ;D

Sure, the news is great, but.... 2006! It seems like forever already and that's another year and a half. Oh, well. Lots of good stuff to reread in the meantime. Adios.

At least he writes faster than George Martin. Who doesn't? Okay, lots of people, considering the size of his books, heh.

Yeah - I can't wait for 'A Feast For Crows'
It sounds like it should be good too - just what I need as Jordan has gone a bit off the boil lately. The last 2 have been a bit disappointing.
