I toy about with writing a bit... tend to build worlds and characters inside my head and write about them, then get discontent around chapter eight and start the process again. On a whim, I thought I'd toy with something shorter for a change and a bit of fun. The last bit wrote itself... probably says something about the warped humour inside my head Its a five minute effort, so be kind ‘Twas the night the horses came That vision came to me, A knight of deeds both great and bold I was called to be. Against the lands of evil ‘twas That I was called to ride, Draw my sword, strap my shield, Ride horses through the night. Among the storming horses ‘twas That I met my end, Unseated, trampled, abandoned, stabbed, Left without a friend For though I felt a calling, see One thing I had forgotten I had no skill in combat thus, My vision ‘twas for nothin’.
