Ehh... was going to post some today but I didn't because I need to work up the nerve and two of them are lost and I want to find them. My old notebooks, scraps of paper, and last year's school agenda books are sitting on my closet floor and I lost two scraps of paper. lol

And yeah, I know the feeling of losing stuff...it's not too fun. Please post...we're waiting to read!

With Valentine's Day coming up, I thought I'd post this one... I wrote this for my wife on her first Valentine's Day.
*********************************************
True Love
Lying here beside you; In the dark, I hear you breathe. Feeling you so close beside me; Closer than I could believe.
Wrapped in your embrace, There's nowhere else I'd rather be The pleasant smile upon on your face You're so beautiful to me.
Slowly try to catch my breath. Pull you closer, hold you tight. Never knowing love like this Love so perfect, Love so right.
With you, I could do anything, And this is true, I know, For you I would do anything But ever let you go.
And cradled in your arms tonight; I know, I never knew, That True Love really could be right, 'Til I fell in love with you...

ALL I WANT
May my heart be stomped into a thousand pieces a dozen times over
May my body be wracked with pain, cramped under stress
May my mind be boggled with problems too big for me to handle on my own
May I spend many nights alone in my lonliness, cold, hungry, and afraid
May I be bedridden with a terrible illness, critically injured, frail and weak
May I fail at many things I attempt, sweat for a success only to have it dashed away at the last moment
May I live to see many of my loved ones perish and suffer, feeling their pain along with my own
May I take all my suffering, all my pain, all my troubles and cry out for help, for vengeance, for justice...and may my prayers and pleas go unanswered.
All I ask is that this comes to pass...for a thousand nights of pain make the one sunrise of beauty and pleasure ten thousand times more enjoyable.
May I feel enough pain to enhance my joy.

I don't think it's crappy either. It's got a strange sentiment to it that I enjoy--contrasting positive and negative experience, understanding the former through the latter. That's something you don't see too much of these days. Good, solid, outside-the-box thinking.
