I have been mulling a project in my head for several years now. It's a project that incorporates Fantasy, Science Fiction and the gospel all in one. I have no idea how it's going to look, but I might need help doing it. It seems to be big for me to do on my own. But maybe God wants me to work with other people on this. This place seems a good place for support.
Any ideas?

I'd be willing to help you get started but you'll be doing all the writing. I think the first step would be to compile a list in no order whatso ever of all the points you want to get across in the story.
The next step after that would to kind of creat an order to which you want the points to appear. And then based on the appearance you get from that, you may see the general form of which it seems to take. If that doesn't get you started, I'm sure some experianced writer will come forth and help you out =P

Well, I've had some experience writing, but not a whole lot. But I think when ideas are round-tabled it makes a really interesting dynamic.
I'm really not sure if this just going to be a novel project. It seems a lot bigger than that.

I'm game for discussing ideas. What's the premise? The underlying concept?

If you have a story that is burning to be told, then tell it. Start off small. Don't go into it writing a trilogy. Most publishers won't publish a new author who writes a trilogy out of the box anyway. Just write the first book and leave room for more. Write what is in your heart and the rest will fall into place. I am 2/3 of the way through my own fantasy novel. I started it in May, but I've reached writer's block and my family life has complicated the time needed to write it, but I work on it as I can. If it's important to you, you'll get it done. Good Luck!
