I didnt even know there were soundtracks :outtie: but hey I am new to SRL's work cut me some slack *grabs scissors and looks for some slack* I can add to Tegid's recommendation that they are very good. Also, there's one of his called "Celtic Legends: Bard and Warrior" or "Dream of Taliesin". I highly recommend them.

Kaz, go the arkmusic site and listen to some of the samples there. www.arkmusic.com/NewFiles/musicsamples.htmlOr if you have iTunes loaded on your computer, click on the Apple iTunes Store link on this page to find even more of his music to sample: (The albums Enter In and Shaken on the iTunes page are by a different Jeff Johnson.) www.arkmusic.com/NewFiles/order.htmlThen make your decisions. You might like quite a bit!

It's not associated with a Lawhead book (although, rumor has it, Lawhead wanted to do a book on Brendan but couldn't get a publisher to do it.) POSB has some songs with words and the album as a whole may be more accessible. But Patrick is good, even if it is instrumental. Listen while reading the book!

When you listen to the song samples.... if you find a couple you want to hear all the way through, I ripped them to MP3, so I could send you a couple of them so you can see how you like the full version.

Music of Celtic Legends: The Bard & The Warrior is no longer available in its original form from Windham Hill. However, Ark Music has released a slightly re-recorded version of it called The Dream of Taliesin. It is one of their 'Ark Special Edition' CDs, in clamshell packaging with no liner notes. (This is unfortunate, because the original liner notes contained two short stories, "The Dream of Taliesin" and "cuChulainn's Last Battle," written by Stephen Lawhead specifically for this recording.) www.arkmusic.com/NewFiles/specialeditions.htmlThis is an instrumental album, no songs. I'll add to the comments by [red]DanTheMan[/red] and [yellow]twyrch[/yellow]: This is one of my very most favoritest albums ever.

Hmmm. You guys turned this into a thread about music. Oh well. I just wanted to say "Wow! A post from the man himself!" and "Looking forward to the new website!" (thinks then dashes off to see if it is in fact already online)
back - No not there yet, but there is a cover shot of 'Hood' up and the promise of a first chapter soon!
