Will www.stephenlawhead.com make it to one year without an update? Right now the the last update (20th November, 2004 #15) is sitting at only 10 days off!!! Wow is there really so little news about such a wonderful writer? I get more info surfing unoffical sites! Oh well. Have a good day everyone. P.S I guess it's great we have the forum.

Yeah, you know what I'D like to see more of... appearances from Mr. Lawhead himself. He needs to get on here and talk with us... wouldn't that be awesome?

I can only say that the silence must be a result of his working on the Robin Hood book.
If he doesn't do things like update the website so that he can work on it, it better be out soon.

Hmmm? I doubt he would need to do the updates himself. It would be great if someone just took a photo of him working at his desk and posted it on the site with a caption saying "Hi guys, this is me working hard on the next book."
It would be very interesting if he did come online. I imagine it would result in him having to spend more time writing answers to silly questions than writing books!
But he must snoop around the forum as a guest some times. Surely? I certainly would if I was some famous author. (Hmm does that point to an unhealthy ego at some level?) Most likely.
have a good one peoples bb

He actually was on here on Sunday, looking around. He didn't respond to any of the threads, but he was looking.

Hey! Was there a bet on this 'Year Without an Update" question? If so, who won?
As it happens, I have been seriously snowed under with the Hood book and a move from Austria back to the UK (and then to the States for the remaineder of this year, where I will be doing heavy promotion for Hood with my musician friend Jeff Johnson - check out the Cornerstone website, among other -- and trying to write the second book in the King Raven series: Scarlet.
Even so, I will be contacting a new website production company in the next couple days to nail down an update and makeover for the site.
Thanks for your incredible patience, Stay tuned, SRL

And if you haven't yet complemented your reading of The Song of Albion, Byzantium, and Patrick with Jeff Johnson's "soundtracks" for these books, you need to get them and keep them among your favorite music!
