Has anyone read any of Candace Robb's "Owen Archer" series? They are historical mysteries set in 14th century York (and Wales ;D). Owen is a former archer captain and now one-eyed spy working for the archbishop of York. From my understanding, the novels are similar to the Cadfael stories.
They sound interesting, but I'm wondering if they're really worth putting any time into reading. Any recommendations for or against?
