The Captain's Choice, Christian Romance, by H.R.Peters! I highly recommend if you need/want a mush fest done tastefully. My old youth pastor wrote it and it came out in print in March!

"Don Quixote" by Miguel De Cervantes and re-reading The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patrica E. Wrede because its such a fun fantasy story that harkens you back to your childhood stories.

The Missing Books of the Bible (Apocrypha) What edition/translation are you reading, CoI? Just from experience, the best version in print right now is the Oxford Annotated RSV. This will probably changed 2/08, when the new Orthodox Study Bible comes to print, which includes the frist new English-language translation of the Septuagint in almost 200 years.

Sailing From Byzantium: How a Lost Empire Shaped the World - Colin Wells That book is awesome! Colin Wells is an excellent historian of late antiquity. If you enjoy it, you should check out John Julius Norwich's A Short History of Byzantium. It's awesome to see people reading about the longest-lived Christian nation in history.

I actually have the 3 volume History of Byzantium by John Julius Norwich on my to do list. Excellent. The unabridged version is definitely the way to go. My love of the Byzanto-Slavic civilization has gotten me into all kinds of trouble: philosophic, religious, and political. It's always nice to see someone else reading the classic works on Byzantine greatness.
