Sarum. It's a book about the town of Salisbury in England and traces several fictional families through the generations (like the rest of Rutherfurd's books). Very engaging.

The Dragonlance 'The Annotated Chronicles'. Reading them for the first time ever (I know, I know you were mean't to have done this back in the 80's). I enjoying them and it is interesting to go back to the begining of what I call class bassed fantasy. Fun.
also
Max Lucardo's 'Finding Your Sweet Spot'. At least that's what I think it's called, no it's 'The Cure for the Common Life'. An encouraging book about what you are supposed to do with your life thus the finding you sweet spot bit.

Do you know the title of the first Dragonlance book? I'd like to begin reading the stuff, but I always like to start at the beginning and not get confused.

Tehanu by Ursula K. LeGuin. It's the fourth book in the Earthsea, well, I guess I can't really call it a trilogy anymore. I also reading through "Across the Wall", which is a collection of short stories by Garth Nix.

Do you know the title of the first Dragonlance book? I'd like to begin reading the stuff, but I always like to start at the beginning and not get confused. That is a very interesting question. The first book written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman is the Dragons of Autumn Twilight (this is also where I started). It is the first book in the 'Chronicles' trilogy and is about 'the campanions'. However they and other authors have gone back in the history of the Dragon Lance world and written many other books about each of the companions former lives and other things of interest. I'm reading the 'Anntated Chronicles' which has the first 3 books in one with many interesting little notes in the marg. These are helping me catch up on a fair bit of DL'isms. This site will help www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=books/dlngEnjoy blix
