Sorry, no one posted in time to help. I hope at least someone sent you a pm on it. Oh, well I am going to read it and then let you know what I think. I liked Ursula K. Le Guin's EarthSea, well at least I liked the SciFi tv adaptation of it. By the way I think Danny Glover makes a pretty good wizard. What do you think? Have you read EarthSea? Have you seen the movie? YOu can order it online and Wal-mart carries it , if not. It's fairly cheap at the WM's in my area. Anyway, I hope to read Earth Sea one of these days. Ok, I am going to read theshort story now. I'm interested in reading your paper if you don't mind sharing it.

Wow I liked it. It was very thought provoking and interesting. I think the child could greatly benefit from being released yet, I see the point of it staying confined. I think the story wonderfully illustrates a classic thought of soilders: Someone has to be uncomfortable so everyone else can enjoy comfort and freedom in life. In other words it always falls to some to bear the uncoveted load so others can be virtually burden free. As far as evil goes, I think the child is facing it alone so the others do not have to. Yet, as they come to know of the child and see the conditions it has to put up with they also face the reality of evil to a degree. I would like to know what you thought? The story also provoked in me the reality that there is no place on earth where utopia will ever truly exist. Although, it is a honorable ambition alas well have to wait till heaven for that.
