Has anyone read, or even heard of this book?

I was wondering if anyone else has read or heard of the book Earth Light by Tracy Pierce. Unfortunately it's only avalible through order online, or having a bookstore order it for you, but it really is an enjoyable book. It's not quite as good as, say SRL, Tolkien, or C.S. Lewis, but I thought it was much more fun to read than Lord of the Rings. It wasn't bogged down in descriptions, and the characters were fun to read about. Especially Vic and Ginger.
