I've always like Ford...I'm really excited about the movie...I hope it's good; I've had my dreams crushed by Lucas one too many times. i think the only problem i have with the movie is that Zaphod only has one head....that takes away at least a quarter of the jokes in the book.....and that plays a major part in the blocked memory deal....i don't know HOW they could do that....oh, well....i hope it's really good, but i have my doubts.....no movie is ever as good as a book and with a book as ingeneous as this, there's a big chance for screw-ups.

Actually, Xaphod does have two heads. The second one is just in a different place then it was in the book. If you watch the trailer there is a scene where you see his second head. It's underneath the first one. Sad, because he can't really argue with himself anymore, but at least it's there.

*Stands up* Yes... I haven't read the series at all. I never heard about it until Shaz mentioned it at TB a while back. It sounds stupid, but that's what I said about Shannara and the Pendragon Cycle before I read them so I PROMISE to give it a try. *Feels like he's at an AA meeting...* ;D You'll love this series. My brother left my Hitchhiker's Guide at my aunt's this weekend. GRR!!! He's never borrowing my books again!
