has anyone read this series?....it's an awesome comical, science fiction series....it's five books, yet it's called the Hitchhiker's Trilogy.....all part of the humor.....Douglas Adams is an amazing author....oh, and, twyrch, i know you haven't even read the series, so don't even bother responding to this  |

I haven't read the series at all. I never heard about it until Shaz mentioned it at TB a while back. It sounds stupid, but that's what I said about Shannara and the Pendragon Cycle before I read them so I PROMISE to give it a try. *Feels like he's at an AA meeting...* ;D |

I have Great books. Twyrch, they’re not as stupid as they seem, very clever writing. I think I am right in saying he (Douglas Adams) also wrote some of the scripts for Dr Who.

yes, he did.....Adam, have you ever read the Dirk Gently books he did?....there's only two of them, but they're great.

No…well… sort of started the first one, got it as soon as it came out but couldn’t get into it. Think I wanted more of Arthur Dent and co. should give it another try.

OMG...awesome books. I got them for 50 cents apiece at a library sale...best purchase I've made. I can't wait until they remake the movie...

I love those books. The writing is very clever, which I suppose it has to be to make those books work. I love Marvin.
