I can honestly say that I lost interest in this series about halfway through book 2. It just didn't hold my interest and I couldn't force myself to finish Clash of Kings.

Well, to each his own, I suppose--but you are honestly the first person I have ever heard say that about Martin's epic. I don't know how you couldn't get through CLASH; all the intrigue and double-dealing that Tyrion does...so incredible. |

Barnes and Noble just sent me an announcement that Martin is releasing "Busted Flush", a novel in his Wild Card series, this December. What happened to the next Ice and Fire installment? Any word?

Would that be A Dance With Dragons? An estimate at Amazon UK for the British edition is April 2009.
