It was written on a sign above a parking space. Did I believe it? No.
The result? Going to the parking lot to find my car and feeling like I've lost my mind because there was no car in sight. Ok well there were plenty of cars, but not mine.
So yup, my car was toed- beter than being stolen I suppose. I was so so so mad, but it was my fault because I did not listen to the sign.
And it took about 2 hours to get my car back- but I won't go into those details unless you beg me because it is long and I'm afraid it might be boring-
So the moral of this story?
When a sign says 'Customers only- all others will be towed' you should listen, because it does actually happen to people, and then you waste 2 hourse of your day on a rabbit hunt and are short 120 bucks which you could've spent elsewhere.
Fun story, huh?

I hate that. . .the mere fact that people think they are going to have enough customers to fill those spaces. . .I once got a note rudely taped to my car because I parked in a parking lot at 5 pm. . .the business closed at 6 or 7. . .I could see if it was like noon and everyone was out but really, how many people are going to be at a trophy store and a karate place? grr. . .
In any case, I hate the fact that we can't share parking areas and if we do, the city gets the grand idear of charging for it. . .ridiculous if you ask me. . .

There is a way of dealing with this. Have a bag from that store sitting in your front seat and then they can't say you don't shop there.

You just need to move your car and the bag so it looks to be in a different spot.

Just leave your car running the whole time. Then it isn't really parking, right?

Go into the store, look around, maybe even buy something cheap every now and then before going to wherever it is you need to go.

If you buy something, you can always return it a short while later, several days, and then you're not really out any money.
