Ever heard about the alligator/crocodile in the sewer?
well, it used to be an urban legend until one appeared on Trinity Western University's campus! no lie! a small (2 ft long) caimen was spotted under a campus bridge on a mainpathway... I havent seen it yet but I know some have. local environment groups assume that a student let a pet loose when it got to big.

lol
There have been urban legends about crocs in sewers a number of different places. I have to admit this is the first time I've ever heard of someone actually coming across one though. I'm guessing that the environmental groups are right and that this is just someone's pet that was released when it got to big.
