March 15 -- Evening The LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork. -- By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. -- Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust on the scales; behold, He lifts up the isles as a very little thing. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? (Exodus 20:11. Psalm 19:1 -- Psalm 33:6,9 -- Isaiah 40:15. Hebrews 11:3. Psalm 8:3-4.)

March 16 -- Morning What is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. My days are swifter than a runner; they flee away, they see no good. They pass by like swift ships, like an eagle that swoops on its prey. -- You carry them away like a flood; they are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up; in the morning it flourishes and grows up; in the evening it is cut down and withers. -- Man who is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble. He comes forth like a flower and fades away. The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. -- They will perish, but You will endure; yes, they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak You will change them, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will have no end. -- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (James 4:14. Job 9:25-26 -- Psalm 90:5-6 -- Job 14:1-2. 1 John 2:17 -- Psalm 102:26-27 -- Hebrews 13:8.)

March 16 -- Evening I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding. Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. -- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever. Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praises on the harp to our God. I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. (1 Corinthians 14:15. Ephesians 5:18-19 -- Colossians 3:16. Psalm 145:21. Psalm 147:1,7. Revelation 14:2.)

March 17 -- Morning He shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him. You know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your futile way of life received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. -- Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree. He has made us accepted in the Beloved. As living stones, ... built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. -- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. (Leviticus 1:4. 1 Peter 1:18-19 -- 1 Peter 2:24. Ephesians 1:6. 1 Peter 2:5 -- Romans 12:1. Jude 1:24-25.)

March 17 -- Evening In all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. When the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread." But He answered, ... "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." The devil ... showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan!" In that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. (Hebrews 4:15. 1 John 2:16. Genesis 3:6. Matthew 4:3,4,8,10. Hebrews 2:18.)

March 18 -- Morning My eyes fail with looking upward. Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled; but You, O LORD, how long? Return, O LORD, deliver my soul! Oh, save me for Your mercies' sake! -- My heart is severely pained within me, and the terrors of death have fallen upon me. Fearfulness and trembling have come upon me, and horror has overwhelmed me. And I said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest." You have need of endurance. While they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven." -- Our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. -- The blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 38:14. Psalm 6:2-4 -- Psalm 55:4-6. Hebrews 10:36. Acts 1:10-11 -- Philippians 3:20 -- Titus 2:13.)

March 18 -- Evening His name shall be on their foreheads. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep. -- The foundation of God stands firm, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him. -- Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. Having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance. -- Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God; and I will write on him My new name. -- And this is the name by which she will be called: The LORD our righteousness. (Revelation 22:4. John 10:14 -- 2 Timothy 2:19. Nahum 1:7 -- Revelation 7:3. Ephesians 1:13-14 -- 2 Corinthians 1:21-22. Revelation 3:12 -- Jeremiah 33:16.)

March 19 -- Morning God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. -- Saved by His life. Our Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. -- As He who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct, because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy." The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ ... has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. -- In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in Him. -- Of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Acts 3:26. 1 Peter 1:3 -- Romans 5:10. Titus 2:13-14 -- 1 Peter 1:15-16. Ephesians 1:3 -- Colossians 2:9-10 -- John 1:16. Romans 8:32.)

March 19 -- Evening Strengthen me according to Your word. Remember the word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope. -- O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me! Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. -- You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed. "Fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!" So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, "Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me." -- "Be strong, ... and work; for I am with you," says the LORD of hosts. -- "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the LORD of hosts. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Psalm 119:28. Psalm 119:49 -- Isaiah 38:14. Luke 21:33 -- Joshua 23:14. Daniel 10:19 -- Haggai 2:4 -- Zechariah 4:6. Ephesians 6:10.)

March 20 -- Morning The entrance of Your words gives light. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. -- God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. -- The Word was God. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. -- If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. -- You are clean through the word which I have spoken to you. You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light. -- You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (Psalm 119:130. 1 John 1:5 -- 2 Corinthians 4:6 -- John 1:1,4 -- 1 John 1:7. Psalm 119:11 -- John 15:3. Ephesians 5:8 -- 1 Peter 2:9.)

March 20 -- Evening Noah was a just man. The just shall live by faith. -- Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet aroma. -- The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the law and the prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference. We also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. -- Whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified. (Genesis 6:9. Galatians 3:11 -- Genesis 8:20-21 -- Revelation 13:8. Romans 5:1. Romans 3:20-22. Romans 5:11. Romans 8:33 -- Romans 8:30.)

March 21 -- Morning Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die. The end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. -- Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. -- Take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. -- "The just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him." But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul. "What I say to you, I say to all: Watch!" Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand. (Revelation 3:2. 1 Peter 4:7 -- 1 Peter 5:8 -- Deuteronomy 4:9 -- Hebrews 10:38-39. Mark 13:37. Isaiah 41:10,13.)

March 21 -- Evening Has His mercy ceased forever? His mercy endures forever. -- The LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy. -- Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity? ... He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. -- Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. A merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. (Psalm 77:8. Psalm 136:23 -- Numbers 14:18 -- Micah 7:18-19 -- Titus 3:5. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Hebrews 2:17-18.)

March 22 -- Morning Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar. Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan. Just Lot ... that righteous man. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. -- Remember Lot's wife. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord, and do not touch what is unclean. -- Do not be partakers with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. (Genesis 13:10-11. 2 Peter 2:7-8. Galatians 6:7 -- Luke 17:32. 2 Corinthians 6:14,17 -- Ephesians 5:7-8,10-11.)

March 22 -- Evening If it is so that the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said. He has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may boldly say, "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" -- I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only. The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. Stand, ... having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. -- The LORD is with you. Go in this your strength. (Joshua 14:12. Hebrews 13:5-6 -- Psalm 71:16. Isaiah 32:17. Ephesians 6:14,12-13 -- Judges 6:12,14.)
