Well, the Cardinals somehow managed to hang on to the NLCS title last night, so they're going to face off with the Detroit Tigers. So who would you like to see win? My vote is for the Cardinals.

BONES, Hinata? BONES? You'd skip Baseball to watch BONES?? haha, jk.
Well, the question was "who do you WANT to see win", so I had to vote Cards. But in all honesty it should be the Tigers taking it all. You never know, though!

The Cards could have done much better this season on only got into the series on a wing and a prayer.

When Yadier Molina hit his homerun in the ninth, we went nuts (we were at some friends' house). And when they finally won it, my friend at I grabbed two cups of water and dumped them on each other, screaming. It was awesome.

I was on the edge of my seat... when they were robbed of the 2-run homer earlier in the game, I was furious... then they loaded the bases with 1 out while they were tied and I thought... It's all over now... Then they pulled off that homer and took the series and we went nuts too! I don't usually stay up till midnight, but I made an exception last night.

Well, my vote is for the Tigers. What can you say? They are the feel good story (much like the White Sox last year) for those who are not Cardinals fans. I love Pujols and was pulling for the Cards in the NLCS, but Leland is the man! Gotta root for Pudge and the Tigers!
I was actually at work during the last 5 innings of that game 7. I know, I know. Anyway, so I was watching on ESPN Gamecast, which isn't live but...I keep getting off track here.
So my most shocking moment was seeing the graphics -- NLCS, Game 7, bottom of the 9th, down by 2, bases chucked, 2 outs, 2 strikes, and Beltran...TAKES STRIKE 3 LOOKING!!! I just sat there with my jaw on the floor, I couldn't believe it.
Later, I saw the replay of that nasty pitch, so I give him a bit of a break. But this morning, I had a talk with my daughter about "Sometimes in life, you're going to look back and wish you had just swung the bat..."
LOL...she had no clue what I was talking about.

Anybody watching this bloodbath? It's the top of the 6th... 7 - 1 Cardinals and the Tigers have been a comedy of errors tonight.

That was almost as painful as the Brady Quinn comeback earlier....rough day for me in sports. None of my favorites won, and none of my hated teams lost. Well, the Badgers won, so I guess it wasn't a total loss.
Did you get the feeling the game was lost when they pitched to Albert, I think in the 2nd? That just seemed to take the life out of the stadium, and home field advantage was utterly destroyed. Figures -- as soon as I praise Leyland, he makes a stupid decision like that...

I don't usually go for anything but football, and there I cheer for Da Bears and whoever is playing against Detriot. (Yes, I live in Northern Michigan, but despise the Lions. There's nothing there to be proud of anyway when it comes to the Lions.)
As for baseball, not something that thrills me, but if you like it, YOU watch it.

Thanks, I'll keep watching it then and posting my thoughts on it here. ;D Dgan, I'm sorry ALL of your favorites lost last night, but I'm not sorry the Tigers lost. We'll see tonight if they can figure out which side of the glove to catch the ball in.

Just needed more stick-em, that's all. Kenny Rogers has just labeled himself the biggest cheating jerk aside from Barry Bonds. I liked him better when he was throwing cameras around. I have officially changed my stance. I am now rooting for the Cardinals in 5.

Tonight's another game... can't wait for the Cardinals to scare the stripes off the Tigers.
