Well, Last Tuesday my dad and I drove to Edwardsville, IL, just outside of St. Louis, to a small bookstore and I got the wonderful Mr. Brian Jacques to sign two books! And I posed with him for a picture! As did my dad! I'm so pumped! I love this guy. And next year is the twentyth anniversary so a new book is coming! Yes, Brian Jacques writes children's novels, but I will love them forever.

Cool! I think I've read the first 2 books and they were good. I'll have to read some more sometime.

Brian Jacques is my favorite author, hands down. Stephen Lawhead is awesome, and of course there's all the classics, but they just don't compare.

That's really awesome you were able to meet him. I would dearly love to meet some of my favorite authors.

I've pretty much outgrown the Redwall series, but I noticed there's a new Castaways book out...

I've pretty much outgrown the Redwall series, but I noticed there's a new Castaways book out... OUTGROW REDWALL?? Awww, that isn't possible! All it takes is the imagination of a ten year old!

I didn't know anything about Jacques or Redwall, so I'll plan to do something about that. After all, with such a strong recommendation from Cynan ... ! Hopefully, in just a few more years I will be old enough for my imagination to follow what's going on..
