Well, months after my doctor advised me to get a knee-brace, I finally bought one, so now I'm a verified handicapped person. Maybe I can get one of those stickers so I can park closer to Wal-Mart. My new job in a warehouse started last Friday and I found that my knee was hurting really bad due to all the walking and lifting, and all the on-your-feet-all-day stuff. I put the knee-brace on and I felt instantly better. You all should learn a lesson and listen to your doctors. Prayers, please.

I had knee problems as well for quite a few years and just two years ago i went out to a physiotherapist who had a simple answer: my legs are different lengths. weird huh? so now i wear a lift in my shoe and i rarely have problems!

As a person well accustomed to joint problems, I wish you the best. Always listen to the doctor, but if you think he/she is not diagnosing you right, see another.

I have knee pain as well, from being an idiot as a kid... I used to wear a knee brace for a long time too. I hope it will eventually get better.

Ooohh, knee problems are no fun at all. I think horseback riding ruined mine, since I didn't have any knee problems before I started.
But metal knees are fun. My grandfather has two metal knees, which makes for great airport stories. Hope you and your knees are feeling better soon.

I'm sorry to hear about the knee problems. I'm glad the brace is helping though. It's crazy how you can do just about anything and sooner or later, you'll have knee problems.
Good luck and hopefully you won't have to wear the brace indefinitely.
