Happy Anniversary and congratulations;
You’re still married to that jerk despite your trepidations.
You’ve put up with his crap for eight long years
And eight years from now, he’ll still be bringing you tears.
You had plenty of chances to dump your idiot man,
But you stubbornly stood by him when you should have ran.
Now you begin another year of watching him watch TV;
His ridiculous hobbies and his many OCDs.
So I know now you will do as you will,
Never giving up on the man I would often like to kill.
I hope he gives you all you deserve in your life.
