my grandmother just received a community service award in the mail today........the odd thing is that she passed away in August.......my grandfather called me today to tell me how his day was going and mentioned that she got this award in the mail......apparently, someone in their neighborhood nominated her back in May when she was still around......but they just got the results and sent out the award......she was always a very helpful person and did everything she could to help her neighbors......my grandfather is hanging the plaque she got over the chair she always used.
