The famous one is "Peace on Earth, Good Will toward Men". I must say it's an idea that would be good for all, even those who don't like CHRISTmas. As Christmas wishes go, that one tops the list.

My Christmas wish is to have my mother's side of the family all together again, so we could spend the holidays together. This hasn't happened since my grandmother died in 1998. Who knows if it ever will, since everbody is scattered across the U.S. Maybe someday.

My christmas wish is simple. . .I want to be home for a week to spend with my family. I want to know that I'll have a job when I come back (with COPD) and that I won't have to worry about running off to Utah for a week. That's all I want

Oh, personally. Well, I guess I wish for my family to be together and healthy. I also wish for lots of books, can't get enough of those! And the British thing... Sometimes I just get homesick for England. (only been there once!)

Have you ever been away from your house or home for an extended period of time? Then on the trip home, when you see familiar sights you feel some weight lift off your shoulders even if you didn't think it was there? And that once you get home, any problems or trials that are going on in your life just don't matter because your home? For some, unexplainable reason, thats how I feel everytime I visit Britain, rain or shine.
In addition, Britain holds age old traditions and history that I want to be a part of. Thats why I want to be British, because every trip I've ever made there was a home coming and not some novelty to take a picture of and to hang on my mantle.

My ancestory is British and I feel a similar connection. When I traveled through England and Wales, there was something about the land that drew me there. It was a very strange feeling.
