I have to report to Jury Duty for the first time in my life on Samhain (Halloween). This ought to be interesting... I can't wait to see what it's like.

But that's great--tell them you are a neopagan practioner and that you must be excused for at least 3 days for the fire festival.
If they keep you on after that, then you must live in the most insane municipality on earth.

There's a couple cases I'd love to be on... Like the guy who shot a mom and her daughter at the ATM to get the $10 they pulled out while on their way to Dairy Queen.... He only got two life sentences... but I would have pushed for the chair.  |
