Okay. .. so here's the deal, my friend(yes really a friend), likes this guy, and we thinks he likes her back too (much flirting going on). And my friend just wishes that he would get up the courage to ask her out.
So I did a good friend thing to do and in so many words asked his roomate if he had mutual feelings. His response: "I dont know, i don't talk to him about things like that. But it sure seems like he does."
Is this true that guys dont talk about girls the minute they leave their sight? Cuz I know us girls do. Man oh man, every time they leave we have a conversation about them boys.
So to you guys out there I wanna know: Do you talk about girls???

My advice: Have your friend ask this guy out. . .get the guts up and don't worry too much about the "guy ask girl" out scenario. . .girls ask guys out all the time.
As for guys not talking about it with other guys. . .I don't know. . .since I'm female, they do talk to me about it. . .but other than that, I don't know. Gomen

Well, when I was on the dating scene my friends and I would talk rarely about true feelings for the women we were seeing. Most guys just don't express themselves that way. I don't think I ever really told any of my guy friends how I truly felt about the women I dated. Even when I was dating my wife I didn't really get into it with anyone else.
Talking about my feelings with women though was another matter. I don't know why but it was.
If he doesn't ask her out before long I would do just what Hinata has suggested and just have her ask him out.

Well, some of my friends will comment on a girl but generally about looks or some noticable trait under debate. With my girl-friends... still talking in generalities or just people we know. But other than that I don't. I mean its really none of my buisness to ask about other peoples love life so I never press the matter.

From being a fly-on-the-wall to many "guys nights," I have seen that guys talk about a girl's looks with each other...A LOT. Not so much about personality or anything though...that seems to be restricted to girls.

hmmmmm. . . thanks you guys So basically if guys talk then its about looks??? Yeah i kind of figured that. . . Yep. Guys don't normally share their feelings and get all gushy-mushy with each other. They try to "visualize" things about the woman they met and talk about her physical appearance. They are almost always visual oriented. If you find one who's not, chances are he's unique or a very good liar.

Hey! Not all guys only talk about the looks! Dont stereotype us please! lol Makes it harder for the guys who want REAL friendships/relationships with women.

Ummmm I have tons of those relationships and they always crack up when I go on about girls looks... although, it may have something to do with the way I present it. But I think we are under a different senario when guys talk to girls as appossed to guys talking to guys.

it depends on the girl......sometimes, i'll say something, but most of the time, us guys like to talk total nonsense about subjects that aren't confusing.......and girls, yeah, they're confusing.

I protest! I have never been confusing! It's always been you males who are the confusing factors! Now, I must step in here. Girls of any age from puberty on are most definitely confusing. In fact, I believe they do it on purpose to add "mystery" into things. Guys aren't near as confusing. And, yes, Hinata. You are confusing. But also very interesting.
